The Echo Man cameth

Yea, verily, forsooth, etcetera - and what a cheeky young monkey he was! I liked him - an opinion which will only be overturned if he writes something arsey about us in his stoopid rag - the Evening Arko. But I'm sure he won't because it was jolly good last night.
Nice to see some new and old faces as well - what with the different room too there was something of a different vibe about the whole occasion I thought.
Next week ... the End!!!

Frank, You are strictly forbidden from reading the aforementioned article as you were not present at the aforementioned event.
.. unless you ask nicely of course. In which case I believe it is going to be Wednesday - is that right Luke?

Its just a ploy to get more people to go and buy copies. I bet he's done 'stories' on half the people in southend!! ;)

Well it turns out that the infamous Nick is actually married to one of the lovely Visitor Information ladies at the Pier. And I met up with him (and her) at an end-of-season party at the Pier last Thursday. He said the article would be published on Wednesday (that would be the 8th). So hopefully we won't have to wait much longer. Of course if it isn't printed this week at least I can now carry out a systematic program of intimidation and threats via his good wife.
